Founded in London in 2014, the brand is renowned for timeless and contemporary creations that represent the pinnacle of Italian craftsmanship and are unsurpassed in quality, attention to detail and imaginative design.
Designed in the heart of London and handcrafted in one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Rome. Wearing a piece of jewellery which in itself is a piece of art, an object you might find in a museum, is at the heart of Dubini’s ethos.
The Dubini logo pays homage to the perfect circle: a symbol much respected in antiquity. It represents the ethereal, limitless, state of time glorified by Ancient Greece and Rome. With their perfect symmetry and natural harmony, circles represented both the balance of life and the mysterious, the divine.
Dubini believes in the skill, talent and creativity that goes into crafting exquisite objects by hand.
The brand has been working with artisans from Rome, specifically in the ancient neighbourhood of Cipro, where jewellery making traditions have been passed down from generation to generation.
We aim to celebrate and nurture the ability of the human hand. By resurrecting ancient artefacts made by our ancestors we are praising both the ancient and contemporary master artisan's skills and knowledge in creating beautiful objects of eternal value.
Benedetta Dubini is an Italian designer based in London.
Since a young age she was surrounded by creative and avant-guard ideas that have had a strong impact on her aesthetic and way of thinking. Her grandfather was a film producer during the golden era of Italian cinema and her grandmother was a prominent actress.
She graduated from Central St. Martins with a degree in Jewellery Design and then went on to fine tune her knowledge at the Gemological Institute of America. Benedetta’s work has been influenced by her vast and diverse life experiences. From exploring the Eastern influences of Gem Palace, to learning the Italian traditions of handcrafted fine jewellers of Villa, Carolina Bucci and Pomellato.
Her ties to her country, heritage and history fused with her cosmopolitan London life are what brought her to create a collection that takes from both worlds, blends both realities, a combination of classic elegance and modern edginess.
